AzBuki was founded in 2011. as a non profit, non governmental organization. The mission of the organization is to develop democratic values, culture and tradition. The objectives are: Promotion of tourist attractions of Serbia, promotion of natural beauty, architectural and cultural values, tourism events, gastronomic offer and recreational activities (hunting, fishing and other sports); Preservation and enhancement of the natural, cultural and ethnological heritage; Promotion of a culture of learning, adult education and lifelong learning, and the provision of these services to all strata of society; promotion of youth, development of their potential, knowledge, skills, abilities and creativity, respect for human rights, dignity and equal opportunities for young people; promotion of understanding and tolerance between young people from different countries and cultures, intercultural dialogue and cooperation; promotion of European integration, etc.

Organization AzBuki is certificated for youth work and has expertise in project managing, IT, trainings and workshops. In 12 sectors coordinators develop strategies, plans and methodologies for program that organization offers.

Sectors in scope are tourism, culture, information, education, international cooperation are referred to this call. There are Debating and Volunteering Clubs work within organization as well as production and redaction. Staff have experience in project managing of EU, national and local projects more than ten years.

From 2014 until now Azbuki participated in a lot Erasmus+ projects and has partnership with organizations across the EU. AzBuki is implementing several local projects, funded by the City of Nis through three past years. The association AzBuki has cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, who funded three projects from 2013 until now. Mostly high rated project Want to llive in Serbia – rise awareness of migration problem and give opportunities to young people to consider their role in local community through improvement their capacity with skills for 21st century.

There are many partners that AzBuki cooperate with in programs and projects – City of Nis, local governments, University of Nis, University Metropolitan, at least 20 schools from Serbia, a lot of Tourism and other organizations. Partnership with Ministry of tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria has been established in 2016 and partners cooperate successfully for three years.

The Ministry of Tourism is a central public body of the executive power entitled to initiate, organize, coordinate and exercise control on the realization of the government policy in tourism sector.

The Ministry is entitled to:

  • Manage, coordinate and exercise control on the government policy in tourism sector

  • Define the strategic objectives and priorities for the tourism

  • Initiate enforcement and manage the implementation of the National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism

  • Conduct the development and realizes the policy of the Ministry for participation in programmes and projects financed by funds of the EU

Competencies of the Ministry of Tourism of Bulgaria include:

  • Defining the strategic objectives and priorities for the tourism policy at national level

  • Elaborating and approving the concept for the tourist regions within the country and monitoring the performance of their activities

  • Ensuring coordination and interaction with the tourist regions in implementation of the national marketing strategy and in the process of drafting of marketing strategies for the Destinations’ Management

  • Organize the marketing research for the prospective markets for the Bulgarian tourist product and other research for the tourism advertising and effectiveness analysis

The Ministry of Tourism implemented 12 projects as a particular beneficiary of Operational Programme “Regional Development” 2007-2013, Grant scheme BG161PO001/3.3-01/2008 “Support for effective national marketing of the tourist product and improvement of the information service”
